Dr. Yiran Xu, Dr. Jiajun Liang, and their team (Destina Bermejo, Genevieve Egbunno, Savion Ellis, Carlo Acevedo Malo, and Joy Omeiza), recipients of the Luce community-engaged research grant, launched the "From the Past to the Present: Exploring Linguistic Landscape and Language Diversity in Merced” project in partnership with the Merced County Courthouse Museum.
